Chinese Dance

Chinese Dance CCA at Evergreen Primary School provides students with opportunities to develop their passion for dance while learning more about this beautiful and expressive art form.

Our training programme focuses on developing strong foundational techniques in Chinese Dance, while helping students build flexibility, strength, stamina and stage presence. Through regular practices, students learn to move gracefully and in harmony as a group. These shared experiences also help to foster discipline, teamwork, perseverance and strong bonds among members.

Students are given a wide range of performance opportunities to showcase their talents and build confidence. These include school-based events such as the Chinese New Year Concert, Achievement Day and Open House, where our dancers play an important role in representing the school.

Members also participate in the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation, a key platform that allows them to strive for excellence and gain valuable experience performing at a national level. In addition, students may have opportunities to perform at external events, further broadening their exposure beyond the school.

Through Chinese Dance CCA, our students are nurtured to become confident performers, disciplined learners and gracious team players who appreciate the richness of culture and the performing arts.
